A noite de hoje, 17 de abril, o Brasil estreou no Sulamericano Sub17 com uma goleada sobre o Paraguai por 4 a 0. Os gols foram marcados por Carlão, Zezinho, Philippe Coutinho e Felipinho.
O Brasil foi a campo com: O Brasil jogou com Luís Guilherme, Crystian, Gérson, Sidimar e Dodô; Elivélton (Eduardo), Carlão (Willen), Coutinho e Wellington (Felipinho); João Pedro e Zezinho.
O técnico Lucho Nizzo optou por uma formação 4-3-2-1, sendo que o atacante João Pedro é jogador de meio. Com isso Willen não entrou como titular. Sendo que João Pedro é jogador de meio campo.
Philippe Coutinho marcou seu gol de pênalti mas foi o maior destaque da partida, foi dele o cruzamento de escanteio para o primeiro gol, deu passe para o segundo, marcou o terceiro e fez a jogada mais bonita da partida ao fazer um lançamento de três dedos que deu início à jogado do quarto gol.
Além de toda produtividade para a equipe, Philippe Coutinho ainda participou da maioria das jogadas ofensivas da seleção, tanto assistindo quanto concluindo.
Willen que somente entrou no segundo tempo teve poucos oportunidades de participar do jogo.
